Community Guidelines

ChatKC should feel expressive, local, and human. These rules apply to profiles, posts, messages, media, groups, and every other surface.

Respect boundaries

No harassment, threats, stalking, unwanted sexual contact, targeted humiliation, or coordinated abuse. A block or request to stop must be respected.

No hate or exploitation

Do not attack people based on protected characteristics. Sexual exploitation, content involving minors, grooming, and non-consensual intimate imagery are prohibited and may be reported to authorities.

Keep people safe

Do not promote credible violence, self-harm, dangerous organizations, illegal transactions, doxxing, or exposure of private information. Good-faith support and educational discussion are allowed.

Be authentic

No impersonation, scams, deceptive manipulation, malware, spam, fake engagement, or coordinated platform abuse. Parody must be clearly labeled.

Enforcement

Context, severity, intent, impact, and history inform decisions. Actions may include labels, reduced reach, removal, warnings, restrictions, suspension, or bans. Use report and block tools when something feels wrong.
